Claims Information – Automobile Insurance

If anyone has suffered bodily injury please notify us immediately.

For those with collision coverage:

1. Within 24 hours of reporting your claim, you should have an appointment with the appraiser.
2. The appraiser will provide you with a list of repair shops and a damage appraisal.
3. After the appraisal you can repair your car.

A listed repair shop will repair your car at the appraised figure. You may go to any repair shop, but you assume any higher than normal cost. If there is missed or hidden damage, the repair shop should contact the appraiser or drive-in for assistance.

Fifteen days from the appraisal, a check will be mailed, minus the deductible. An investigation will determine fault, and a check for the deductible or a surcharge notice will be sent.

Any pedestrian, hit and run, or property damage over $1000.00 MUST be reported to the police where it occurred.
